Yes, you can light the decorative candles. The candles that have pillar shapes are designed to ‘tunnel’. The candle will burn down the centre, while the exterior decoration remains intact and illuminated by the flickering flame inside.
Why Nadine’s Candles are not scented?
The designer focuses on the artistic elements of the piece, and so chooses not to scent her candles. The candles are a visual treat, and their beauty is magnified when they are lit.
Is there a recommended burn time for Nadine's Candle?

To preserve the candle's sculpted shape, burn for no longer than 1 hour at a time and allow to rest for 15-20 minutes before you relight.

How often should I trim my wick?

Trim the wick to keep is at 5 mm to avoid a tall flame, which creates smoke and damages the exterior of the candle.

Why Nadine's Candles are made of paraffin & stearin?

They are made of 85% paraffin & 15% stearin. Paraffin tends to allow a more vibrant range of colours than other waxes will allow typically due to lowers opacity and resistance against frosting.

Using stearin in candles vastly improves their appearance and burning properties by allowing candles burn longer, with steady, unwavering flames.

How to avoid that candles start dropping?

Draft should be avoided. In case that the wick moves to one side, the wick should carefully be cut and moved to the upright position.

 

What is the best way to put out the flame of a candle?

The best way is to put the wick into the liquid wax. After the flame is extinguished raise the wick again.

Why are wooden wax candles safe?

Candle design is proven and tested.

Fire protection - The flame size and candles are carefully selected. The heat from the flame is not enough to ignite the wooden walls of the candle.
The bottom of the candle jar is protected with a layer of non-flammable material. This is done to prevent the burning wick from coming into contact with the wooden structure in case of full wax combustion

Processing - The lower part of the candle is made heavy so that the candle   always remains stable. In addition, it protects your table from possible   temperature effects.

Why are the wooden candles durable?

WOOD MOOD product is, first of all, natural wood that "breathes". Over time, cracks may appear on it or the structure of the bark/wood may change. This does not affect the functionality of the candle, and even, on the contrary, emphasizes its naturalness. These processes depend on the temperature and humidity in the room. Therefore, we do not recommend leaving candles on turned-off radiators or under infrared heaters. We also do not recommend leaving candles in damp or poorly ventilated rooms, among damp things, etc. - this can cause mold to appear on the wood.

 

Why do bee wax candles get after a certain period of time a grey white film?

It is typical for bee wax that after a certain period of time some grey mould will appear.  This is also an indicator that is real bee wax.

 

What is the benefit of beeswax?

Out of the natural candle waxes available, beeswax burns the longest. 

Because beeswax has a higher melting point than other waxes, it emits the brightest, most warm-toned flame.

Beeswax candles neutralise pollutants and improve mood.

They're also vegetarian!
